Our session will last any where from 1-3 hours depending on the location as well as the number of people. Young Children and Newborn sessions can run up to 3 hours due to feedings, diaper changes and other needed breaks. It is my goal to make this photo shoot a positive and comfortable experience for everyone involved. My goal is to offer all of my clients a casual and relaxed experience.

I tend to be very minimal when it comes to props; however, if there is a special item that you are looking to add to your portrait, please feel free to bring it along. I do have a few props in the studio.

You have the opportunity to choose between shooting in my home studio in Ocean Springs , your home or a favorite location within 20 miles of Ocean Springs. Locations outside of this will be subject to travel fees.

What ever shall I wear?

I encourage simple clothing. Denim, Khaki and neutral colors work best. While bright, vivid patterns look adorable, it can be a distraction in your portrait.

Family Portraits: I recommend that all wear similar clothing in similar shades. This helps to make the group appear unified and reduces any distraction that 'clashing' clothing may cause. Please avoid busy patterns, stripes, loud colors/ combination and clothing with logos. If you need suggestions for clothing, I am more than happy to help you.

Maternity: Simple is best. White tank tops and button up shirts are win-win clothing choices. During your session, comfort is most important. We can do fully clothes, or tasteful nudity. I have maternity wraps that are available as well.

Newborns: Precious little ones photograph best in their birthday suit or simply a diaper. The best time to shoot a newborn is in the first 2 weeks of life. Parents ~ come prepared to be a “prop” for your child. The focus of the portrait will be of your precious one, but some times little ones need mom or dads touch to feel comfortable. Please wear all black to help blend into the background for these shots. Feel free to bring additional clothing for family portraits.

Infants/Toddlers/Children: For older infants and toddlers simple is best. Denim, overalls, soft flowing material for dresses….I also encourage bare feet.

Once your Session has ended…

The proofs from your photo session will be ready for viewing in approximately 7-10 days after your session. You will be able to view and order yor portraits in your very own online gallery/shopping cart. I will send you a link along with an access code to send to friends and family. You will be presented with apprx 25-50 prints (proof book is available for purchase). After 30 days, images that are not ordered will be purged. Online galleries will be available for 2 weeks after which they will expire. There is a $25 re-posting fee to re-upload your proof gallery. Payment of 100% is due at the time of order placement. There is 10% discount for orders placed with in 3 days of receiving proofs. We accept cash, check, VISA or MASTERCARD.
